Sankes on short list
From a report in the Niagara Gazette on the Buffalo Rapids, an expansion team that will begin play next season in the fledgling American Basketball Association:
Jacob said more player signings will be announced soon. One player the Rapids are interested in is 7-foot-1 center Josh Sankes, the St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute product, who played his college ball at Holy Cross.Sankes, of course, would not be the first former HC center to play in the ABA. Neil Fingleton started last season on the roster of the league's Boston franchise.
